Gauthier was the first psychologist to conduct a forensic evaluation of Monique Olivier, the accomplice and partner of Michel Fourniret in one of the most sordid criminal cases in history. As a reminder, Fourniret abducted, raped, and murdered numerous young girls and women between 1987 and 2003, confessing to at least 11 murders involving Monique Olivier’s active participation.
